    How do you leverage something that has already gone viral? That’s what we were challenged with when Bas Hoeflaak created one of the most viral moments of 2023 in the Netherlands, on Amazon Prime’s ‘Last One Laughing.’ We did it by inviting the community to contribute their own verses to the song. But people soon got tired of the song. And so did we. So, we turned that haunting feeling of the flute into a comedic sketch. The result? Over 4 million views. 💅🏼

    How do you impress a generation that sees more than 650 different pieces of content a day? 👂 Apparently, listening to them makes the difference. For HEMA, we began creating content that speaks to directly to Gen Z. → It resonated so deeply that after some time the community started calling us SLAYMA! We took it to heart and fully embraced the SLAYMA identity, slaying in everything we did even harder. ▶️ The result? One of the most popular Dutch brand TikTok channels.

    We’re excited to announce that we have partnered with HEMA to launch the ‘SLAYMA Summer School’ game in Fortnite. The game is part of HEMA’s back to school campaign, and it’s all about connecting with the younger generation in the digital universe.     Our favorite campaigns are when they have real world impact. ‘Restart a Heart,’ together with Red Cross, is a perfect example of that. 70% of cardiac arrests are witnessed, but only 20% can act. That’s a problem – but problems are here to be solved. We leveraged the power of AR to create an immersive CPR training lens, making life-saving instructions engaging and available at your fingertips 📲 It showcases the potential of technology in improving health and well-being. And our work got rewarded with a The Webby Awards! 🏆

    Yannis Sykianakis is a Social Media Insights Analyst at GoSpooky. In between his busy schedule, we asked him some questions about his work analyzing the data side of social. 1️⃣ What’s the first thing you do to kick off your workday as a Social Insights Analyst? I dive into the latest social media trends, decode overnight data, and sift through reports with a fresh coffee in hand. This ritual transforms numbers into narratives, setting the stage for strategic storytelling and informed campaigns. 2️⃣ How do you like to spend your breaks during the day? Any fun activities? I take brief strolls through the lush green spaces around our office. 3️⃣ Where do you find inspiration when you need a creative boost for your media strategies/ reporting/ research?  I dive into a mix of sources—TED Talks, tech blogs, new wave films, art galleries, and even a bit of people-watching at local coffee shops. Inspiration can hit from anywhere, so I keep my mind open and my curiosity dialed up to eleven. 4️⃣ How do you stay connected and collaborate with your team throughout the day? Staying connected and collaborating with my team throughout the day is a blend of high-tech and in-person meetings. We rock our Slack channels for quick syncs and brainstorms. Plus, we sprinkle in some spontaneous meme exchanges and virtual coffee catch-ups to keep creativity flowing. 5️⃣ How do you wrap up your workday? Any end-of-day rituals? To wrap up my workday, I tidy my workspace, note today’s wins, and set priorities for tomorrow. Then I switch off with a walk or some chill tunes to clear my mind and prep for a fresh start.

    The past two weekends, it was time for Tomorrowland 2024, and we worked with HARMAN International to create a digital version of the festival JBL Land on Roblox. And look how cool it turned out 👆 At the ‘House of Fortune’ stage, users can enjoy virtual performances and even control the lights on the stage, go on quests, play mini games, and much more.
