Vrijdag 8 november zijn we aanwezig bij Techniek Tastbaar in CSG De Goudse Waarden. Het techniek doe-event in Gouda voor kinderen van 10 t/m 14 jaar. Samen met verschillende andere bedrijven uit de regio laten wij zien welke techniek wij allemaal in huis hebben. De kinderen mogen zelf aan de slag om zo hun talenten te ontdekken en om te zien hoe Techniek wordt toegepast in de wereld. Als ouder ben je ook van harte welkom. A busy week for Mokveld with two Hydropower and Water events in the USA simultaneously. Yesterday we kicked off at WEFTEC in New Orleans. Today, Jimmy Tsiantopoulos and Machiel Bosma just set up our booth #1028 at the HPW expo, Clean Currents in Portland that starts tomorrow, Wednesday October 9. Together with Bob Olijnyk from our rep Pumptech, they look forward to meeting you and discussing how to resolve your high energy dissipation challenges. Cavitation is eliminated with our control valve for applications with extremely high heads (over 3000 psi).

Last week members of the SIL platform visited Mokveld for their biannual meeting. The SIL platform is an independent group of experienced users or adopters of the SIL philosophy. A focus group under standards committee NEC 65, which largely follows the global and European standardisation work of IEC/TC 65 and CLC/TC 65CX in the field of industrial measurement and control technology by actively participating in various working groups of the various subcommittees. In these working groups, they represent the Dutch position. In addition, NEC 65 is responsible for bringing the importance of the standards to the Dutch constituency. A batch of 16” axial control and on-off valves destined for Ireland, left our factory this summer. They are assembled, tested and prepared based on the client specifications by one of our experienced assembling teams. The control valves are fitted with electro-hydraulic actuators and the on-off valves with line-gas operated fail close pneumatic actuators. The on-off valves have a control panel tailor made for the application using a hybrid system of closing; based on instrumented control and mechanical pressure sensing and trip initiation. #mokveld #valves #axialvalves #manufacturing #assembling

The first day at ONS has again flown by. Many familiar faces, but just as many new faces interested in optimising their processes with our valves.
