On Day 2 of the QPS User Days -Wataru Kumagai of Madeei Pacific LTD. will present ‘Biological/environmental mapping challenge’ Multibeam echosounder takes 'multiple roles' in marine survey. Using FMGT's backscatter processing ability, Madeei has conducted several challenging demonstrative surveys to identify the seagrass fields, living corals and volcanic gas seep spot. In the presentation, several nice pictures of the backscatter images will be shown and introduce some practical findings on 'multispectral backscatter' usage on biological identifying. Qimera 2.7.0 - Sneak Preview - Flag grid cells Sneak peak of the Flag Grid Cells feature in the upcoming Qimera 2.7.0 release. User-defined conditions are set to flag grid cells. Flagged cells can be viewed in the Dynamic Grid and Slice Editor. In addition, the populated list can be exported and loaded to zoom to each area of interest easily. #QPSsoftware

Qimera 2.6.3 is released! This release includes the addition of a new Attribute Threshold to the Grid Statistics Tool, which is user defined and provides the resulting number of cells in the grid that meet the user defined threshold.
