Its 🔛. The buzz 🌟 since yesterday around the #CleanIndustrialDeal has ensured some positivity for European Industry. For #industrialelectrification and #CCU, we are happy to see that there are some ideas on table on ✅decluttering #permitting issues for new #electricity grids ✅#‘acknowledgement' of the use of Captured Carbon #CCU in ETS, ✅revision of state aid rules for better financing climate, ✅a third round of #HydrogenBank. Through six pillars the Clean Industrial Deal definitely puts the finger where it currently hurts (the European Industry). We love the ambition and the timelines that have been clearly mentioned for each action point. Do we believe that the #Commission, together with it’s member states will deliver on this? We VoltaChem truly hope so!

Green Hydrogen Breakthrough: Testing Low-Iridium PEM Electrolyzers We are proud to present a new cooperation with Toshiba Sustainability Solutions Europe Ltd to work on the development of #low-iridium #PEM electrolyzers. In the coming months, the Faraday Lab in Petten will test Toshiba’s low-iridium membrane electrode assembly (MEA). The aim is to validate its performance under industrially relevant conditions and EU market protocols. The cooperation underpins the strong position of the Faraday Lab among the few high-pressure electrolyzer testing facilities in Europe and adds to TNO’s strong track record in developing and testing of #electrolyzers and their components. According to Tara Van Abkoude, Business Developer for Green Hydrogen production, this will be the start of an on-going cooperation with Toshiba in green hydrogen technology. “The knowledge we generate will benefit us both, and potentially the wider field of PEM electrolysis.” Kazuto Hasebe, General Manager of Hydrogen Business Development at Toshiba Europe expects the cooperation with TNO to contribute to his company’s goals in the development and industrialization of green hydrogen technology. “We are very excited to have started the cooperation with TNO. As an authority in water electrolysis research, this is an important component to the future success of our business.” The picture was taken during the kick-off meeting in Petten. VoltaChem heeft dit gerepost
It really is a curious development that institutions like the City of Amsterdam together with Programmabureau Noordzeekanaalgebied | NZKG have rolled up their sleeves and together with ecosystem players like the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam and Rockstart went out and invited startups in the field of #ccu to come up with promising solutions for the region in order to meet its 2050 #climategoals. Congratulations to all the finalists, UP Catalyst , CarbonOrO ParaStruct, Accu't , Skytree. Congratulations on the great start and all the best! For me, being tasked with ensuring scale up and market introduction of #power2x technologies at VoltaChem , TNO it was an extremely relevant event. Extra nice was the panel together with Max ter Horst Rockstart , Montse Mussons Olivella, Sympower , Frans Everts ,Shell , Ingrid Post, moderated by the fabulous Donatello Piras. Topics discussed: 👉🏽IP sharing in open innovation: when and how 👉🏽 policy impulse versus market innovation 👉🏽 public private partnerships: when and how 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 TNO is of course a proud member of Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam and it was great to see Tim Baart-Meijering , Business Developer at ETCA taking our example to pinpoint the open campus strategy as a success story!
