Delivery and Naming Ceremony for Commissioning Service Operation Vessel C503, “Vestri Enabler” 🎉 Yesterday, Thursday 14 November, Edda Wind took delivery of CSOV "Vestri Enabler" from GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán followed by a Naming Ceremony today, Friday 15 November. The traditional ceremony took place in Gijón, Spain. On Friday, October 25, we celebrated the naming ceremony of Service Operation Vessel (SOV) C416, Goelo Enabler, in the port city of Saint-Malo, France 🎉 The Lady Sponsor of the vessel is Ms. Isabelle Juillet, General Manager & Finance Director of Siemens Energy, France.  The vessel has commenced a five-year contract with Siemens Gamesa and will operate at the Saint-Brieuc wind farm in France. The name "Goelo Enabler" was selected to honor the historical significance of the Goelo region in Bretagne, which has a rich maritime heritage. By choosing this name, we pay tribute to the local culture and acknowledge the area’s strong ties to the sea. The term "Enabler" reflects our commitment to facilitate and enable the transition to renewable energy. Together, "Goelo Enabler" symbolizes both our respect for the region’s legacy and our mission to empower sustainable solutions for the future. Goelo Enabler is designed to set a new standard in the offshore wind market. Every effort has been made in the design to maximize the efficiency of operations in the wind farm. This morning, 29 October 2024, our CSOV NB966 from Vard began its towing towards Brattvåg for commissioning and completion. We expect her arrival in approx. five weeks ⚓ 🚢 NB966 met its planned production scope, with additional work even completed at the Braila site. This also marks the end of a productive and successful collaboration between the Edda Wind site team and the Vard Braila team. Our Vard-0425 Commissioning Service Operation Vessel design has been designed exclusively for Edda Wind. It is designed with unparalleled flexibility and operability for operations in wind farms anywhere in the world. NB966 is prepared for zero-emission operations based on a Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) concept, in addition to being methanol-ready. #Newbuilds #Renewable #Sustainability #CSOV

On 19 September 2024, our Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) C504 was successfully launched at GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán in Spain 🎉. As the last in a series of six sister vessels, this launch represents a significant achievement for both GONDAN and Edda Wind🌟. 🚢C504 is a purpose built CSOV prepared for emission free operations with a hydrogen-based propulsion system based on the Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) concept🌱. This state-of-the-art vessel will perform commissioning and maintenance work on offshore wind turbines. Edda Wind's Q2 2024 is out 📊 Here are the highlights: - Revenue of EUR 14.9 million (EUR 5.7 million above Q2 2023). - EBITDA of EUR 0.6 million (EUR 2.2 million below Q2 2023). - Private placement of NOK 400 million successfully placed in June. - Sudri Enabler secured a charter with DEME Offshore commencing in July. - Goelo Enabler commenced long term charter with Siemens Gamesa in July. - Favorable demand outlook for C/SOVs and increasing tendering activity. - Delays and unscheduled work at the wind farms result in additional work for CSOVs. - Oil & gas sector continues to extract tonnage, including purpose-built CSOVs. - High seasonal day rates observed for the CSOV market.
