If you want to learn how to add battery charging and fuel gauging to your nRF52 Series project, but missed our live hands-on webinar on July 3, we got good news! The recording is now available on-demand. Robin Maristad Saltnes gives a full walkthrough of using the nPM1300 PMIC to add battery charging and fuel gauging to your existing projects. He goes through how to use nPM PowerUP to easily configure settings for your PMIC and add these settings to your nRF Connect SDK firmware project. This allows you to easily take advantage of the nPM1300 for powering the system and charging batteries in any existing design without major redesigns to the firmware. In addition, Robin covers creating battery models through profiling batteries with nPM PowerUP and nPM Fuel Gauge board, looked at how you can substitute the built-in battery model in the nPM Fuel Gauge sample in nRF Connect SDK with one you create for your specific battery, and how to easily add fuel gauging functionality to your project's firmware. Access the on-demand webinar to start learning about fuel gauging: https://hubs.li/Q02Cq2Sw0 #nPM1300 #FuelGauge #powermanagement #PMIC #nRFConnect

Our nPM1300, the first-ever PMIC to integrate all the essential system management features necessary for low-power embedded designs, has been shortlisted for Electronics Industry Awards in the “Power Product of the Year” category.   Your vote counts! Cast your vote here: https://lnkd.in/gAkH33d   “The PMIC market is dominated by products that don’t do much – forcing designers to use several chips to implement their power management system and still be lacking vital functionality. We saw an opportunity to integrate the most common building blocks and add functions that nobody had thought of putting on a PMIC until we introduced the nPM1300.” Geir Kjosavik The voting closes on July 31. #ElectronicsIndustryAwards2024 #nPM1300

Our Open-Source Software Engineer, Carles Cufí, was a guest on a recent episode of the Embeddedfm podcast, which is hosted by the embedded software development experts Elecia White and Chris White. Listen in as they talk extensively about Zephyr and why Nordic adopted Zephyr to build our nRF Connect SDK. Carles shared his recommendations for learning Zephyr, which, of course, includes Nordic Developer Academy. The academy currently offers five courses that cover not only Zephyr and nRF Connect SDK, but also Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and cellular IoT. We recommend this episode to anyone interested in Zephyr, Nordic, and/or embedded development for the IoT space: https://lnkd.in/eC5uRQcM The Zephyr Project #Zephyr #RTOS #NordicDeveloperAcademy #Embedded
