Since 1995, Norwegian Maritime Exporters (NME) has served as a vital link between Norwegian maritime companies and the global markets. Operating in an industry characterized by fierce competition and the emergence of dynamic new markets, Norwegian Maritime Exporters and our members are busier than ever.
While engaged in a broad range of activities, Norwegian Maritime Exporters is driven by one core ambition; establishing networks. We do this through promoting cooperation, facilitating participation in trade fairs and conferences, organizing official delegations to various markets as well as carrying out and financing market research. In doing so we help our members launch new products, services and ideas, while introducing them to the people and innovations that are making waves in other parts of the world.
Norway’s maritime cluster has a strong tradition for technological innovation, cooperation between different players, and maintaining an international perspective. Norwegian Maritime Exporters serve as an important link between member companies in Norway and the international maritime industry, representing Norway’s most ambitious and innovative companies across the maritime equipment and maritime services cluster. Our aim is to bring new ideas and impulses to Norway from international markets, and support the Norwegian maritime cluster in bringing innovative new products and services to new markets. NME’s members range from established multinationals to specialist niche players serving a wide variety of market segments.
Established by the maritime industry, Norwegian Maritime Exporters is fully owned by its member companies; comprising suppliers and manufacturers of high quality products and services to ship owners, shipyards and fisheries worldwide, with agents in more than 130 countries.
