🚢👥 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 2024 On 16th August, Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and Singapore Shipping Association jointly organised Connexions Forum 2024, which brought together around 150 maritime HR professionals under the theme "𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞." The forum offered a platform for sharing best practices and fostering meaningful connections within the maritime HR community. A highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between SMF and the National University of Singapore (NUS) 🤝. This ceremony marks the beginning of a shared commitment by both organisations to equip the maritime workforce with skills to prepare them for the future. Public courses for the Data Literacy Programme will commence in 2025. The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) today organised our inaugural 𝐒𝐌𝐅 𝐇𝐑 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 with Faststream Recruitment Group which was attended by over 100 maritime HR leaders and senior practitioners 🤝🏻 The demands on HR leaders are increasing due to evolving workforce demographics and dynamics.
