Our first meeting focused on key areas such as building trust, clarify expectations, giving constructive feedback, and coaching, while also establishing the foundation for meaningful networking opportunities. Over the next nine months, our objective is clear: to equip our mentees with the best possible tools and support to foster growth and help them achieve their goals. 👪 Building Communities Together: A Day of Connection and Learning On August 15th, NRC Group Finland, in collaboration with the Crown Bridges Alliance, hosted a special 'Get to Know the Construction Site' day for family members. We had the pleasure of welcoming nearly a hundred children and relatives to experience firsthand the exciting work happening at the Crown Bridges project—a transformative tramway being developed in Helsinki. The Crown Bridges project is not just about constructing infrastructure; it's about fostering urban development and providing a sustainable way for citizens to navigate our city. By bridging families and the work community, we offered children a unique opportunity to see the vital role their parents play in shaping Helsinki's future. 👷 - This event brought families and our work community closer together. It also helped us build a positive and responsible corporate image, aligning perfectly with NRC Group's strategy, said Mikael Kesenci, Project Manager from the Crown Bridges Alliance. 🤝 We were thrilled to see our alliance partners and their families join us in this day of connection. 🚀 Exciting Leadership Announcement at NRC Group! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that Katariina Nilsson (Soikkanen) has been appointed as the Head of Nordic Machinery Operations at NRC Group ASA Group, effective from August. 🎉 As we continue to streamline and strengthen our operations across the Nordics, the efficient use of our machine fleet is central to our success. By uniting our efforts under Katariina’s leadership, we aim to optimize and create a more cost-effective and powerful machinery operation across the region. Katariina brings solid experience and leadership to this role, having led the Finnish Materials Division and Machinery Operations since 2023. Her deep understanding of our operations, combined with her business insight, makes her the perfect fit for this role. In addition to her new role, Katariina will continue to lead the Finnish Materials Division and Machine Operations in Finland. We are confident that under Katariina's leadership, we will unlock significant potential to enhance our machinery operations across all Nordic countries. 🚆 Track 11 at Malmö Central Station is now fully operational, enhancing our capacity to handle the growing number of passengers and goods moving through Skåne. This new track is crucial as Skåne's rail traffic continues to rise, with 152 million public transport journeys annually. A huge thank you to everyone from NRC Group Sverige involved in this project! Just a few final touches and an inspection in September remain. Åsgeir brings with him an impressive background in finance and infrastructure. Previously, Åsgeir served as CFO at Nettpartner AS, a leading Norwegian company specializing in the construction and maintenance of power supply and railway infrastructure. He has a solid background in in finance and liquidity management, project control, mergers and acquisitions, and improvement programs. Before his time at Nettpartner, Åsgeir spent a decade in the private equity sector, where he made significant contributions as a partner at Incitia Ventures and as an investment director at Reiten & Co. Åsgeir holds a master's degree in natural sciences from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). We are confident that Åsgeir's leadership and vision will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and innovation in our industry.
