Today, we participated in Position Green’s launch of the ESG100 report, which explores how the largest companies in Europe and Scandinavia are adapting to the upcoming reporting requirements under ESRS. These requirements will be phased in from 2025 to 2028.   The increased demands for sustainability reporting necessitate the collection and management of vast amounts of data. It was therefore invaluable to hear from CFOs and sustainability leaders from several major companies on how they are navigating this complex challenge.   Camille Leca, Group Head of ESG and Sustainable Finance at Euronext, took part in a panel discussion alongside KONGSBERG Gruppen and Boozt, addressing the practical challenges and opportunities of #ESRS reporting. She encouraged a pragmatic approach and emphasised that the data collected can be used strategically to drive business development. The panel also highlighted the importance of shifting focus from reporting itself to how companies can implement changes that help achieve their sustainability goals. Our recently published ESG Trends Report for 2024 shows that companies listed on Euronext have reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by 14%, without negatively impacting revenue – a critical factor for long-term sustainability and efficiency.   Many thanks to Position Green for an insightful report and for the opportunity to participate in the launch! – Tillit mellom næringslivet og politikerne er viktig, og øverst på ønskelisten til bedriftene er forutsigbare rammebetingelser. Rapporten "Temperaturmåling på næringslivet i Vest" viser at flere er mer positive til framtiden i år enn i fjor, sa @Monica Mæland, administrerende direktør i Bergen Næringsråd da hun innledet på "Vestland på Børs 2024".   Børsdirektør Øivind Amundsen fremhevet følgende fra Euronext Oslo Børs' perspektiv:   ◾ Stabile og trygge rammevilkår er essensielt for det norske kapitalmarkedet og for å opprettholde utenlandske investorers vilje til å investere i Norge. Endringer må innføres på en god og transparent måte. ◾ Utenlandske investorer er fortsatt den største eiergruppen (39,8%), men nettoinvesteringene i norske aksjer vært negative de siste syv kvartalene. ◾ Andelen private investorer fortsetter å øke. I tillegg fikk vi en oppdatering på utsiktene for norsk økonomi fra DNB Markets, forventninger til shipping og hva markedene kan forvente i forbindelse med det amerikanske valget.   En stor takk til Bergen Næringsråd og DNB for invitasjonen til den 20. utgaven av Vestland på Børs. Euronext is pleased to present our robust Q2 2024 results, driven by our diversified business model. The group achieved 12.2% revenue growth in Q2 2024 compared to Q2 2023, setting a new record with €412.9 million in revenue and income. This performance was fuelled by significant growth in non-volume-related businesses, as well as strong growth in clearing and trading, particularly in fixed income.   Amid an inflationary environment, Euronext maintained effective cost control, resulting in a nearly 20% year-on-year increase in adjusted EBITDA to €256.8 million. The adjusted EBITDA margin also rose by 3.5 points to 62.2%. Euronext is in the final phase of integrating the Borsa Italiana Group. In May, the MTS Production Data Centre was migrated to the Core Data Centre in Bergamo, and in July, the clearing of Euronext commodity derivatives was successfully migrated to Euronext Clearing. The next phase involves migrating the clearing of financial derivatives, slated for completion in September 2024, which will finalise the integration and contribute to delivering the remaining cumulated run-rate EBITDA synergies, targeting €115 million by the end of 2024.   Euronext also pursued strategic expansion with the acquisition of Global Rate Set Systems (GRSS), enhancing its position in the calculation and administration of interbank offered rate indices. This acquisition is expected to bolster the growth of Euronext’s non-volume-related revenues. Innovation remains a priority for Euronext, as demonstrated by the launch of the Euronext Wireless network in July, becoming the first exchange in Europe to offer “Plug & Play” order entry in London via microwave technology, significantly enhancing order transmission speed and reducing latency. Additionally, the Mid Point Match initiative for dark trading continues to gain traction, with increasing volumes each month.   Strategic growth, effective cost management, and commitment to innovation have driven our record-breaking Q2 2024 results, reinforcing our position as the leading pan-European market infrastructure.   Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gYxUxSnB

🎉 I dag feiret TGS og PGS sin fusjon med frokost og bjelleseremoni på Euronext Oslo Børs. TGS leverer vitenskapelige data og intelligens til selskaper som er aktive i energisektoren. I tillegg til et globalt energidatabibliotek, tilbyr TGS spesialiserte tjenester som avansert prosessering og analyse sammen med skybaserte dataapplikasjoner og løsninger.   Mens begge selskapene har lang fartstid på Oslo Børs, hadde PGS-aksjen sin siste dag på børs 1. juli.
