Celebrating one year of operation these days 💚. Zinus AS is super proud and very thankful for being part of this important Singaporean project.
PENGUIN’S ELECTRIC DREAM ship-and-shore electrification project in Singapore has completed a FULL YEAR of commercial operation with its three fully electric commuter ferries and three rapid DC shore chargers. Every day, the ferries transport some 3,000 personnel between Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal and Shell’s Energy and Chemicals Hub on the island of Pulau Bukom. Electric Dream’s year-long, smooth-and-safe operation serves as a strong testament to the Penguin-led Electric Dream partnership, which includes Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd, Danfoss Drives, Razor Blunt Labs, Zinus AS, GEMA Engineering Services and Incat Crowther. For this project, Danfoss supplied the rapid DC shore chargers and on-board DC systems, including all engineering and design works. This week Zinus AS is participating on a super busy and highly interesting 🇺🇸 west coast trip, visiting ports, vessel owners and affiliated companies. It’s been both eye opening and highly informative to catch up with US companies involved in maritime electrification projects and initiatives🔌🔋🛳️. Tour is masterly put together by Sharon Røe and Ken Huste from Innovation Norway Americas and Kjell Erik Brekke from Royal Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco. Thank you guys for super planning and wonderful travel companionship🤩🇳🇴😍
🚢✨ What an incredible journey so far! Our Norwegian delegation of 7 maritime innovators has just wrapped up three action-packed days in California. We toured 4 ports, gained valuable insights from our CA partners, and showcased our green maritime technologies to 150+ maritime stakeholders - the response has been nothing short of overwhelming. From seabed cleanup and sustainable hull cleaning to vessel design, digital ESG reporting, and electrification - Norwegian maritime tech is more in demand than ever! 🌍🌿Learn more about our participants: Blueday Technology AS, ECOsubsea, Manta Marine Technologies, Metizoft AS, OceanFront, Pascal Technologies and Zinus AS.
