Last week, we were thrilled to recognise and celebrate Kane Fletcher as the winner of our annual Golden Weld award. This is the award given to those who best embodies our TIGER values (Togetherness, Integrity, Growth, Empower, Respect). Nominations are provided by the organisation and the finalists are decided upon by our Executive Leadership Team. This year’s winner, Kane Fletcher, truly sets the standard for teamwork, leadership, and growth. With exceptional communication skills and unwavering support for his colleagues, he’s always ready to guide others and celebrate success together. His commitment to personal and professional growth is impressive—embracing Te Reo Māori in both his work and daily life, participating in MANAVATION courses, leading karakia at meetings, and being a key member of our Pou Tuarā initiative. His leadership in integrating Te Ao Māori into our business has fostered inclusivity and encouraged others. Kane upholds integrity in everything he does, providing constructive feedback and driving meaningful actions to improve safety culture within his branch. His contributions, both as a branch manager and a broader leader, are an inspiration to all. Congratulations once again Kane and thank you for the incredible contribution you make to the team! #GoodEnergyAtWork #HeWairuaPaiiTeMahi
