The countdown is on! We are preparing to swim the challenging Gibraltar Strait in support of the Harcourts Foundation New Zealand—an epic feat that only two Kiwis have ever completed! 🤯 Our team will brave the open waters between Europe (Spain) and Africa (Morocco), tackling a swim of up to 22km, depending on tides and conditions. We swim together as a pod of four, but each swimmer faces this test as an individual. Our dedicated team includes Ben Davies, Mark Blake, Sam Blake, and myself, with the incredible Kathy Blake as our invaluable crew mum. #GRANTED NEW ZEALAND | West Auckland RDA (WA-RDA) provides weekly therapeutic horse riding for children with a wide range of disabilities and challenges. It is the only RDA group in West and North-West Auckland. We aim to enable and support disabled children to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community. Thank you to Harcourts Blue Fern Realty Ltd with the support of the Harcourts Foundation for a grant to purchase an AED defibrillator (AED) for our new covered riding / community facility.

NEW ZEALAND | We are proud to announce that Leeann Marriott from Harcourts Gold has been honoured with this quarter’s Inspiration Award! This time, we’ve expanded our recognition to spotlight individuals who have truly exceeded expectations, and Leeann is a standout candidate. 💙 Leeann has set an inspiring professional goal to raise $20,000 for the Braintree Wellness Centre, a first-of-its-kind facility in Christchurch that supports people with neurological conditions to live well in the community. Recently, she hosted a successful event at the Wellness Centre, raising $6,000 towards her goal. But she’s not stopping there—Leeann is personally contributing from every sale and has more events planned in the coming months to reach her target. Her dedication to charity is longstanding. In the past, Leeann has also made significant contributions to skin cancer awareness, a cause close to her heart due to family involvement. Additionally, she has volunteered in the emergency department of Christchurch Public Hospital, where her friendly and calm disposition has helped ease the anxiety of many patients. Leeann’s commitment to making a difference is truly inspiring, and we are thrilled to see her efforts recognised. What an extraordinary evening it was in Rotorua at Harcourts Dancing for Hospice 2024! 💃🕺 With over 2,000 people in attendance, the energy in the room was absolutely electric. This event was a wonderful celebration of community, driven by the incredible support of our Harcourts network, who are proud to be principal supporters of this annual event. Our collective goal was to raise as much money as possible to support Rotorua Community Hospice in the invaluable work they do every single day—and together, we raised over $100,000! 🌟
