🤔 Improving labour costs in a bar or restaurant is often seen as the antithesis to a happy productive hospitality team. However, - I'd argue that the inverse is actually true. It seems to me the best hospitality teams thrive on the challenge of being more productive, and then being rewarded well (both financially and with development) for all of their hard work. Yes this hard work is about making sure customers have a great time, but also that the business is hugely successful. If we genuinely care about the future of our team, then we have no choice but to find more efficient and productive ways to operate. It's this efficiency that creates the future profitability that can be shared with our team in terms of how well we pay them and look after them. Where else can it come from? We've been working with small groups of our Loaded customers, looking to emulate some of the best performance improvements we have seen from our long terms customers, and it's been amazing to watch just how much progress the Loaded team has been able to make with them over four short weeks. I've detailed the biggest learnings out of this to date in the article below in the comments.
