Querubin, a retired Marine officer and the most bemedaled Filipino soldier, served in the Armed Forces of the Philippines from 1973 to 2009, earning the prestigious Medal of Valor, the highest military award for gallantry. A graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (Class of 1979), he furthered his education in Australia, specializing in defense and intelligence studies. Transitioning to the private sector, he became Vice President & Special Assistant to the President and COO of San Miguel Corporation. He is also the President of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1979 and the Philippine Australian Alumni Association, while being recognized as People Asia’s People of the Year (2025) and PMA’s Cavalier of the Year (2023) for his contributions to private enterprise.

We have been hearing a lot of discussions about what should have been budgeted and so on but how much to we actually know about it? Ang tamang layunin ay tingnan mabuti kung ano ang kailangan at malaman kung alin ang tama o mali at ng mapagisipan kung ano ang nararapat. Much of what we see and hear in politics and government these days are heightened by emotions. This is but expected except that it prevents us from finding out what really needs to be done. More importantly, if we soberly weigh in on important issues, then we’d likely arrive at better solutions.
