Savaira conducted a Mental Health Awareness Session with 35 women at the IMCHF vocational center. The session aimed to bust myths and break stigma about mental health, and equip participants with practical strategies for maintaining optimal mental well-being. Through activity-based discussions, participants explored ways to prioritize self-care, manage stress, and cultivate emotional resilience. The session fostered a supportive environment, encouraging open dialogue and connection among attendees. #MentalHealthAwareness #IMCHF #Savaira

Earlier this year, we conducted training sessions for teachers as part of the Parvaan School Wellness Program across various schools in Karachi. Last month, we returned for follow-up booster sessions to reinforce the key concepts and practices. We were delighted to witness the teachers' enthusiasm and strong knowledge retention. It was reassuring to see our efforts contributing to a more positive and supportive school environment for both teachers and students. One step at a time, we are moving towards a more mentally resilient Pakistan. #StudentWellness #TeacherTraining #MentalHealth #Savaira

Savaira, in collaboration with the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), held a week full of activities for Mental Health Week. The events were meant to bridge the gap between the mind and the body and to spread mental health awareness among inpatients, outpatients, their caregivers, and hospital staff. It included activities such as Mandala-making, gratitude circles, yoga and mindfulness, and even a talent show for inpatients to display their talents and own the stage. As the week comes to an end, hear from Savaira and JPMC’s staff psychologist, Shan E Zainab, what the week was all about! #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthWeek #Savaira #JPMC

Together with Savaira and JPMC, the Centre for Arts-based Methodologies & Wellbeing (CFAW) recently facilitated a 'Blank Canvas for Catharsis' session with inpatients at the JPMC psychiatric ward. Participants were encouraged to express their emotions freely on a blank canvas, resulting in a powerful mix of art—beautiful, raw, and unfiltered. We look forward to more meaningful collaborations like this one! #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #JPMC #ArtTherapy
