Although we have been doing this since 2016, we are constantly improving our fulfillment solution. Discussions with e-commerce business owners and managers are crucial in this process. That’s exactly why we visited Beauty Forum Munich by Cosmoprof last weekend. Alicja Skopinska and Piotr Reszelski asked e-commerce businesses selling products in Germany and cross-border about their plans so that we can better adapt our product to their needs. Koszty docisnęły polskie e-commerce’y i w ostatnich miesiącach widzę większe niż zazwyczaj zainteresowanie naszymi usługami od klientów z Polski. Z rozmów wynika, że chodzi głównie o te dwa czynniki: 1 → Widać, że wzrost płacy minimalnej w tym roku o 20% mocno przełożył się na koszty prowadzenia magazynu. Przedsiębiorcy oglądają się za możliwościami optymalizacji i oszczędności. 2 → Kiedy 3-4 lata temu e-commerce wystrzelił przy okazji pandemii, wielu przedsiębiorców wzięło więcej powierzchnii niż potrzebowali, a to generuje wysokie koszty. Teraz kończą się te umowy najmu magazynów i pojawia się okienko do renegocjacji lub rozejrzenia się po rynku. I tak trafiają do nas. A jak się dowiadują, że tniemy koszty logistyczne średnio o 30-40%, to już zostają. Jeśli też prowadzisz e-commerce i szukasz oszczędności logistycznych, to pogadajmy – zapraszam na priv. My last-minute tips on how to get your e-commerce ready for the coming Q4 sales peak ☟ 1 → PLANNING ► You can't start too early. In October you should be done with detailed planning of each area (manufacturing, marketing, customer service, tech, etc.). 2 → PROMOS ► Make it simple. If you have various promotions overlapping, customers will get confused. 3 top promos recommended by our merchants are: bundles, limited editions, free delivery. 3 → INBOUND ► Aim for a high stock holding position early November. If apart from B2C you also do retail, plan for two waves – you want to get the retail orders ready at least a month before Black Week, so your 3PL can fully focus on e-commerce orders in November and December. 4 → TECH ► Q4 is all about stability. Focus on capacity planning, patching, and don't push for any major deployments. 5 → LOGISTICS ► If you work with a fulfillment center like us there's not much logistics preparation needed on your part. We take everything off your shoulders. But what you can do is focus on good communication. Tell your 3PL what you're planning so that they know what to expect. 6 → READINESS ► A week before Black Friday everything should be set and ready for the coming sales peak. Best not to make any last minute changes. 7 → METRICS ► Pick out key metrics that you think give you a good indication of how well you're performing and make sure you track them daily in order to spot things that are going wrong. 8 → BREATHE ► When something goes wrong, stay calm. It's okay! No brand gets this perfect. Analyze, talk to your partners, try not to make the same mistake twice. All of these come from a great webinar we hosted last year on "Mastering Q4".
