QatarEnergy enters 20-year naphtha supply agreement with Shell QatarEnergy has announced entering into a long-term naphtha supply agreement with Singapore-based Shell International Eastern Trading Company (Shell). The 20-year agreement stipulates the supply of up to 18 million tons of naphtha to be delivered to Shell starting in April 2025. In remarks on this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy said: “We are delighted to sign QatarEnergy’s first 20-year naphtha sales agreement, the largest and longest to date. This is our second such agreement with Shell since 2019 and builds on our strategy of stronger relations with established end-users and partners.” His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi added: “Today’s signing further strengthens QatarEnergy’s relationship with Shell, which is not only a reliable naphtha off-taker but also a major counterpart and strategic partner. We look forward to building on our longstanding relationship with Shell and achieving greater mutual successes along the way.” On his part, Mr. Wael Sawan, the CEO of Shell, said, “We are honored to enter into this long-term agreement with our esteemed partner, QatarEnergy. This deal will support Shell as we deliver more value for our customers worldwide. قطر للطاقة توقع اتفاقية لتزويد شركة شل بالنافثا لمدة عشرين عاماً وقعت قطر للطاقة اتفاقية طويلة الأمد لتزويد شركة شل الدولية للتجارة الشرقية، في سنغافورة، بالنافثا. وبموجب الاتفاقية سيتم تزويد الشركة بما يصل إلى 18 مليون طن من النافثا يتم توريدها على مدى عشرين عاماً اعتباراً من ابريل 2025. وفي معرض تعليقه بهذه المناسبة قال سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريده الكعبي، وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للطاقة: "نحن سعيدون بالتوقيع على أول اتفاقية لقطر للطاقة لبيع النافثا تبلغ مدتها 20 عاماً، وهي أكبر اتفاقية وأطولها حتى الآن. وهذه هي الاتفاقية الثانية من نوعها التي نوقعها مع شل منذ عام 2019، وهو ما يبني على استراتيجيتنا في إقامة علاقات أقوى مع شركائنا والمستهلكين النهائيين من الشركات الكبيرة." وأضاف سعادة الوزير الكعبي: "يعزز توقيع هذه الاتفاقية العلاقة بين قطر للطاقة وشل، التي هي ليست مشترياً موثوقاً للنافثا فحسب، بل شريك رئيسي واستراتيجي. ونتطلع إلى البناء على علاقاتنا الطويلة مع شل وتحقيق نجاحات أكبر في المستقبل." بدوره، قال السيد وائل صوان، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة شل: "يشرفنا أن نبرم هذه الاتفاقية طويلة الأمد مع شريكتنا الموقرة قطر للطاقة. هذه الصفقة ستدعم سعي شركة شل إلى تقديم المزيد من القيمة لعملائنا في جميع أنحاء العالم. هذا التوقيع اليوم يمثل إنجازاً مهماً جديداً في شراكتنا الراسخة." تتمتع قطر للطاقة وشل بشراكة استراتيجية طويلة الأمد من خلال العديد من الاستثمارات المشتركة في صناعة الطاقة في قطر وحول العالم، بما في ذلك مشاريع قطر للطاقة للغاز الطبيعي المسال، ومصنع اللؤلؤة لتحويل الغاز إلى سوائل، والعديد من الاستثمارات المشتركة الأخرى. #قطر_للطاقة⁣ #قطر

QatarEnergy announces the introduction of the enhanced In-Country Value Program QatarEnergy has announced the launch of Tawteen initiative’s enhanced In-Country Value (ICV) program, a move that will further align it with the objectives of the State of Qatar to enhance the sustainable development of the local economy. The enhanced ICV Program is the result of strategic collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders, mainly the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as suppliers, energy champions, and industry experts. Building on the foundations laid by the original ICV program launched in 2019, this enhanced version brings forward significant improvements that make the program more inclusive, adaptable, and beneficial for all participants. One of the Program’s key amendments is the refined ICV formula, which is engineered to provide a wider scope of the local contribution for all companies. In addition, a bonus scheme was introduced to reward companies for their positive contributions in selected fields, hence, ensuring an accurate reflection of each company's impact on Qatar's economy. The enhanced ICV Program also introduces the ICV+ policy, which is specifically designed to provide targeted support to local manufacturers. This policy underscores the program's emphasis on developing the capabilities of Qatar’s manufacturing sector, enabling local companies to meet the evolving demands of the industry and contribute to the country’s economic growth. To further empower micro and small enterprises, the Program introduces a Blanket Score policy offering a standardized ICV score that supports their competitiveness in the market. Additionally, a simplified certification process is introduced to alleviate the administrative and financial burden for micro and small enterprises who work directly with the Energy sector. قطر للطاقة تعلن إصدار النسخة المحدّثة من برنامج القيمة المحلية أعلنت قطر للطاقة إطلاق النسخة المحدّثة من برنامج القيمة المحلية لمبادرة توطين التي ستحقق المزيد من التوافق مع أهداف دولة قطر في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة للاقتصاد المحلي. وتأتي النسخة المحدّثة لبرنامج القيمة المحلية كثمرة للتعاون الاستراتيجي وتوحيد الجهود بين مختلف الجهات الرئيسية المعنية وعلى وجه الخصوص وزارة المالية، ووزارة التجارة والصناعة، إضافة إلى الموّردين، ورواد قطاع الطاقة، وخبراء القطاع. وتبني هذه النسخة على الأسس التي وضعها برنامج القيمة المحلية الذي تم الإعلان عنه في عام 2019، حيث تم إدخال تطويرات رئيسية تساهم في زيادة شمولية البرنامج ومرونته وفائدته لجميع المشاركين. ومن أهم تطويرات البرنامج الجوهرية هو إعادة صياغة معادلة احتساب القيمة المحلية لتعكس نطاقاً أوسع لمساهمة الشركات، وكذلك إدراج برنامج نقاط المكافآت الإضافية للمساهمة في المجالات المرغوبة لجميع الشركات مما يضمن الاحتساب الدقيق لمدى الأثر الذي تساهم به كل شركة من الشركات على الاقتصاد القطري. وتُدخل النسخة المحدّثة سياسة القيمة المحلية الْمُعزَّزة (ICV+) لشركات التصنيع المحلية، والتي صممت خصيصاً لتوفير الدعم المستهدف لهذه الشركات. ويأتي إدخال هذه السياسة تأكيداً على تركيز البرنامج على تطوير القدرات الناشئة لقطاع التصنيع في دولة قطر، وتمكين المصانع المحلية من تلبية الطلب في القطاع الصناعي والمساهمة في تنمية الاقتصاد الوطني. كما تم إدخال نظام القيمة الداعمة للشركات الصغيرة والشركات متناهية الصغر، والتي سيوفر لها سجلاّ موحداً للقيمة المحلية بما يدعم قدراتها التنافسية في السوق. إضافة إلى ذلك، فقد تم تبسيط إجراءات تصديق القيمة المحلية لتخفيف الأعباء الإدارية والمالية عن الشركات الصغيرة ومتناهية الصغر في حال رغبتها بالعمل في قطاع الطاقة بشكل مباشر. وبذلك فإن هذه الإجراءات التطويرية تبرز مدى التزام قطر للطاقة في دعم سلسلة التوريد المحلي الشاملة، التي تزدهر من خلالها جميع الأعمال الاستثمارية بجميع أحجامها. #قطر_للطاقة⁣ #قطر
