We're thrilled to announce the delivery of the first batch of our novel Manual Ball Valves to Thales Alenia Space for satellites based on the cutting-edge Space Inspire platform, developed with the support of Agência Espacial Portuguesa and European Space Agency - ESA ARTES program. This delivery marks a historic achievement - Omnidea's commencement of the first recurrent production of propulsion space hardware in Portugal. Designed for the Ammonia Cooling Fluid Loop, our valve, originally developed as a propulsion component, underwent rigorous acceptance testing, including functional assessments, leak tests, vibration, and thermal cycling, to ensure its readiness for space. With this milestone, Omnidea now boasts full production capabilities in Portugal, delivering Flight Model products to the global space market.
