ROMATSA a găzduit în data de 13.09.2024 ședința anuală a QUASAR Task Force, inițiativa europeană de armonizare a pregătirii și evaluării personalului ATSEP. Desfășurarea la București a acestei ediții a întrunirii reprezintă o recunoaștere a performanței sistemului de pregătire și licențiere dezvoltat de Administrația Română a Serviciilor de Trafic Aerian cu susținerea Autorității Aeronautice Civile Române precum și a efortului continuu depus de Asociația ATSEPA.

Astăzi 13 septembrie 2024, a avut loc o întâlnire între Directorii Generali ROMATSA și Î.S. MOLDATSA, în vederea întăririi colaborării existente a celor două instituții furnizoare de servicii de navigație aeriană. #MoldATSA #ROMATSA

ROMATSA representatives participate in the period 26 August - 06 September 2024, as part of the Romanian delegation, in the works of the 14th ICAO Air Navigation Conference held at International Civil Aviation Organization headquarters in Montreal, under the theme "Performance Improvement Driving Sustainability ". At the same time, year 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of ICAO and the @ICAO Convention. The 14th ICAO Air Navigation Conference discusses the most important #challenges facing the global #aviation sector, future measures for the #development of the aviation system, the review of #technological components in the field of #airnavigation and #safety, as well as technical and operational improvements to ensure more efficient #airtrafficmanagement operations. The conference is an opportunity for ROMATSA representatives to have open discussions on the most important operational and implementation difficulties faced by all stakeholders, respectively, to address the most important issues in the field of air navigation and safety, with the aim of finding appropriate #solutions for the continued institution's effort regarding the #commitment to provide the safest air navigation services in the region. Honoured to address a large community of aviation experts & talk about the importance of #predictability & #flexibility at the #InterFAB research workshop in Zagreb, organised by @FABCE, FABEC, the University of Zagreb / Sveučilište u Zagrebu and the German Aviation Research Society (GARS). ✈ I highlighted how: 📌 #predictability & #flexibility are central to the European aviation network and the EUROCONTROL #NM Network Manager’s preparations with all ops actors for a smoother #summer2024 with their #AllTogetherNow campaign 📌 we are contributing to several innovative #SESAR projects led by our Innovation Hub near Paris looking at how #AI & #machinelearning can improve predictions and create an optimal sector configuration Conferences such as this are vital as they address challenges at the core of network performance.
