In 2023, the Africa Agriculture Trade Monitor (AATM) Report identified climate change as the most significant threat to the development of Africa’s agricultural trade. Rising temperatures are leading to more severe and less predictable droughts and floods, reducing soil fertility, increasing the frequency of pests and diseases, and impacting agricultural output and export potential. The AATM, which debuted at the Africa Food Systems Forum, highlighted the potential trade effects of climate change such as shifts in comparative advantages between and within world regions, resulting in significant changes in trade flows. Join us at this year’s #AFSForum2024 as we delve into the latest AATM findings.https://https://lnkd.in/dbfvbxaR Register now and let's transform the future of Africa food systems together. https://lnkd.in/dtyeDipZ #InnovateAccelerateScale
