Today we’re proud to launch our 75th anniversary campaign that celebrates our unique legacy, strong heritage, and journey over the past seven decades that started on the East Coast of the US.    The campaign features an ensemble of talent: actor Matt Dillon, band Infinity Song, podcasters Throwing Fits, models Tony Özkan and Eleonore Jeanne in a film directed by Matthew Frost.    We’re also excited to present an anniversary capsule collection of replicas inspired by pieces from our rich archives dating back from the 1950s and onwards.   GANT’s Creative Director Christopher Bastin says, “we poured our hearts into creating this anniversary capsule recreating some of our absolute favorite pieces from the past seven decades and the outcome is a personal and highly curated cross section of our legacy within American sportswear.” Discover the anniversary campaign and collection: https://lnkd.in/ekvGvURb

As we celebrate World Water Week, we’re pleased to share an update of our Converse Every Drop project. Launched in partnership with WaterAid in 2021, this initiative aims to ensure clean water access and sanitation in local communities of villages in the Bangalore region, India. As we enter the second phase of building a water-positive future, the local teams in India conducted a series of meetings with different stakeholders to serve as a platform to reflect on the learnings from the first two-year phase, ensuring that these insights would guide the strategies and priorities for the next phase. Significant progresses were made in restoring a pond and renovating a dam in two villages around Bangalore. In Spring 2024, the project team organised training programs on water security and maintenance across different villages. These sessions were designed to empower local communities, particularly women and youth.

Meet Erica, GANT’s Global Head of Inbound & Outbound Logistics.   She grew up in the north of Stockholm and began her career in retail upon graduating high school. Driven by a passion for fashion, she moved to London to study at the London College of Fashion. During her studies, Erica worked part-time at GANT on Regent Street and completed an exchange semester in New York City. In 2020, Erica rejoined GANT and began working with the Global Logistics team after graduating. She started managing the flow of goods from suppliers to the central distribution center in the Inbound Logistics department. After 1.5 years, Erica advanced to her current role where she oversees inbound flow, customs, and outbound operations.   Outside of work, Erica loves running in the woods in her free time. It’s a passion that allows her to unwind and enjoy nature. Erica describes her team as creative, competent, and fun. They create a dynamic and supportive environment crucial to their collective success. She is proud of her team's ability to navigate challenges and drive efficiency in logistics.   Adopting a solution-oriented and open attitude and being willing to collaborate with various stakeholders is key for pursuing a career in logistics according to Erica. She also emphasizes the value of internships for gaining practical experience in this dynamic and ever-changing work environment.
