Trade associations help shape policies and programs by aggregating and channeling feedback to government agencies. Members from The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL), Association of Singapore Marine & Offshore Energy Industries (ASMI) and Association of Process Industry (ASPRI) affectionately known as Construction, Marine & Process (CMP) sectors 😄, connected with the ACE team from the Ministry of Manpower at a Feedback Session on Primary Care Plan- a healthcare plan that covers outpatient costs for migrant workers. Today’s focus group format enabled an open and collaborative discussion and provided the ACE team with a clear understanding of the challenges faced by employers and key areas to enhance user experience. As these insights are addressed, the PCP will undergo further review and refinement to benefit the CMP sectors by providing a more resilient healthcare ecosystem for migrant workers.

  • ASPRI remains committed to its government advocacy efforts to shape policies and programs by aggregating and channeling feedback to government agencies. Members from The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL), Association of Singapore Marine & Offshore Energy Industries (ASMI), Association of Process Industry (ASPRI), collectively known as the Construction, Marine, and Process (CMP) sectors, came together & connected with the ACE team from the Ministry of Manpower for a Focus Group Discussion on the Primary Care Plan (PCP). Launched in April 2022, the PCP benefits both workers and employers through proactive public health surveillance, which helps minimise outbreak risks and work disruptions, and provides protection against unexpected healthcare costs. The focus group enabled open and collaborative discussions and provided the ACE team with a clearer understanding of the challenges faced by employers and key areas to enhance user experience. Insights shared will be studied & addressed, to further review & refine the PCP to benefit the CMP sectors by providing a more resilient healthcare ecosystem for migrant workers. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Manpower for organizing this Focus Group Discussion and all our members for your active participation and invaluable feedback. #ASPRI #PrimaryCareProgramme #MinistryOfManpower #CMPSector
