We are excited to announce the successful completion of a EUR 2.2 million funding round for our portfolio company, Hefring Marine. Led by Faber Ventures, this round also saw participation from distinguished investors such as TwoRavens LLC, MD One Ventures, Riverstone Holdings, Idlewild Management LLC, and Sukana Holdings.   Hefring Marine is dedicated to advancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability for vessel operators and managers. Their flagship product, IMAS (Intelligent Marine Assistance System) harnesses AI technology to optimise speed, route, and heading, delivering real-time and historical insights for entire fleets. With a diverse clientele spanning from search and rescue to leisure boating, and strategic partnerships with industry leaders like SAFE Boats International, LLC International and the Italian Coast Guard, their impact is profound. The IMAS system has demonstrated significant benefits, including up to a 20% reduction in fuel usage, a 70% decrease in harmful wave impacts, and a 20% decrease in insurance premiums.   We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Karl Birgir Björnsson and the entire Hefring team for their vision and diligence. We are proud to announce that our portfolio company Harbor Lab has successfully raised a $16M Series A funding round, led by European VC Atomico. This round also saw continued support from Notion Capital, Venture Friends, Speedinvest, and theDOCK, along with new investments from Endeavor Catalyst and maritime VC TMV .   Harbor Lab's platform is transforming port cost management for shipping companies. By optimising and streamlining the process, what previously required a team to manage just a hand full of vessels can now be handled by a single individual for up to 50 vessels. This not only enhances efficiency but also significantly reduces invoicing errors and overpayments through real-time tariff verification.   We are incredibly proud of Antonis Malaxianakis and the entire Harbor Lab team for their vision and hard work. We look forward to seeing Harbor Lab continue to foster innovation within the maritime ecosystem. 🚀
