A quota is the maximum ratio of foreign workers to the total workforce that a company, in a given sector, can employ. For EP applications, both the company and the candidate profiles will be studied, and it is true that the company’s local workforce is one of the criterion MOM will look at when assessing the file, but there is not a quota “rule” for EPs. However, employers do have quotas on Work Permit and S Pass for example.
