Earlier this month, MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) joined Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for the #groundbreaking #ceremony for the new HSA building, marking a significant step in our #partnership 🏗️ 🏢 While it is not a typical public healthcare facility like a hospital, polyclinic, or nursing care home, the new HSA building will be an essential part of Singapore’s public healthcare infrastructure. As part of making our healthcare happen, the #MOHH Healthcare Infrastructure Projects Division oversees the planning, design, construction and delivery of these infrastructure projects on behalf of the Ministry of Health (Singapore) (MOH). #HSA invited our Deputy CEO, DERIC LIANG PPA(G), representatives from MOH and main contractor Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., as well as close to 100 guests to commemorate the official commencement of construction. The new building will house all HSA employees, who are currently spread across five different locations, under one roof in a single facility. Congratulations to HSA on the start of your #newHSAhome journey! ✨

“We embarked on this journey because we have been compelled by necessity, for Singapore is ageing very fast and the status quo is unsustainable. Indeed, necessity is the mother of invention,” Minister Ong Ye Kung stated at the 22nd Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress. To address these challenges, public healthcare institutions in Singapore will receive a $200 million boost over five years to harness the power of AI🤖 and genomics data 🧬 to ramp up preventive care for patients, which Minister Ong believes will have profound impact on healthcare. With three healthcare tech initiatives already in the works to be launched over the next couple of years, MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) will support our healthcare clusters National Healthcare Group National University Health System SingHealth, our subsidiary Synapxe, and other public healthcare agencies to help healthcare innovation reach its fullest potential 🔬🖥️ ☁️📊

The MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) office came alive with colour and #creativity in an employee-driven #Art Jamming #Workshop with about 30 colleagues. The workshop was facilitated by one of our own – Jen Koh from our Healthcare Infrastructure Projects Division, a development manager who designs and delivers healthcare infrastructure projects in Singapore. Outside of her #MOHH role, she channels her love for painting by volunteering as an art teacher. Participants were led into the vibrant world of #painting, where they explored brush techniques, mastered colour blending, and learned about the rich history of #art, all while enjoying a fun and supportive atmosphere. Jen also shared how painting is a self-healing process for her, inspiring others to explore their own #creativity. Colleagues were also encouraged to bring their own art materials, embracing #sustainability in their creative journey ♻️🖌️ It was a great way to unwind and practise a different way of creative expression by picking up a brush and letting our imaginations run wild 🎨

Last month, Angelouse Tan, Head of IT & Innovation for 1FSS Pte Ltd, a MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) subsidiary, was invited to speak at the GovInsider Healthcare Day Singapore 2024 about 1FSS’s journey with using robotic process automation (RPA) in driving operational excellence within Singapore’s public #healthcare system 🤖 💡💬 During the 30-minute fireside chat “Intelligent Automation in Finance Shared Services: Transforming Healthcare Operations in Singapore”, Angelouse highlighted the importance of fostering a growth mindset within the organisation. By promoting performance accountability and idea generation, 1FSS was able to achieve some quick wins. For example, the use of #RPA in one of their #payroll processes has reduced the manual processing time of 83 hours (~10 work days) to just 2 hours. Such initiatives involve close collaboration with another of #MOHH’s subsidiaries, Synapxe, the national HealthTech agency, to ensure alignment with #IT guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (Singapore), which allows for a safe environment for team members to explore new #technologies. Looking to the #future, 1FSS is exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (#AI) with RPA to further optimise the efficiency of their operations – from improving patient interactions in the call centre to automating responses for billing inquiries. 1FSS, a team of under 400, provides a full suite of #finance services to support over 70,000 employees across our three public healthcare clusters National Healthcare Group National University Health System SingHealth, so that they can focus on what truly matters: providing healthcare services to all in #Singapore ❤️🏥
