A brother’s selfless act, a husband’s unwavering love, and a young boy’s hope for a second chance—these are the powerful stories of organ transplants that have given new life to those in need. 💛 Wen Ming’s brother donated part of his liver, allowing him to witness the birth of his daughter. 💙 Jamie Y. received a kidney from her husband, enabling her to return to the sport she loves. 💜 Galina Ivanova survived cirrhosis thanks to her husband’s donation—and now competes in international tennis tournaments. ❤️ And young Jovan, who lives with a heart pump, is still waiting for the transplant that will give him a better quality of life. Their journeys are a testament to courage, resilience, and the gift of life. Read more about how #transplants are transforming lives. #OrganDonation #TransplantStories #GiftOfLife Brian K. P. Goh

Congratulations to SATA COMMHEALTH on the launch of their new Community Clinic at Beach Road. At the launch, SingHealth and SATA CommHealth signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster closer collaboration and strengthen care management of our residents.    As part of our partnership and Singapore’s increased focus on preventive health, we will expand health services for Beach Road residents, and encourage and equip them with the knowledge and skills to take charge of their own health. • Change is inevitable—but how we navigate it defines our impact. At today’s Academic Hour: Distinguished Leaders Series, we had the honour of hearing from Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon on how the Singapore Courts are transforming to meet the challenges of a changing world—insights that resonate deeply with #healthcare. 🔹 Trust in an age of disinformation: Truth is the foundation of justice—just as it is in healthcare. In an era of misinformation, institutions must proactively communicate with the public to uphold confidence and credibility. 🔹 Harnessing #AI for good: #Technology can transform lives, but only if used responsibly. The courts have set clear guidelines on AI usage to safeguard justice, just as healthcare must ensure ethical AI integration to enhance care while protecting patient trust. 🔹 Bridging the gap in access: Justice and healthcare should never feel out of reach. The courts are leveraging digital tools to help self-represented individuals navigate the legal system—mirroring how we in healthcare must use innovation to improve accessibility and equity in #patientcare. One of the most profound takeaways from Chief Justice Menon’s sharing: change must be led with clarity of purpose, shared leadership, and unwavering commitment to those we serve. It’s not just about adapting—it’s about anticipating, innovating, and ensuring that no one is left behind. Thank you, Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, for your wisdom and inspiration. Your insights remind us that whether in law or healthcare, our duty is to serve with integrity, compassion, and excellence. #AcademicHour #SingHealth #bewellwithsinghealth
