  • As the Global Chief Technology Officer in Johnson & Johnson, Rowena Yeo leads teams to craft and execute technology solutions that improve customer and patient care. These solutions leverage cloud, data science, AI/GenAI and ML to drive better decisions and support diverse use cases from employee productivity to drug discovery to supply chain optimisation. But a priority for this Singaporean mother of three is also paying it forward as a mentor, especially for women in tech. Her advice? "Have strong domain knowledge in the areas you're responsible for, embrace continuous learning, be excellent in your work and be a team player that people want on their team.” Rowena credits her mentors, co-workers, and family for where she is today. In 2019, with family support, she relocated to the US to start a new role with J&J and build a new team. She's now back in Singapore - which is J&J's regional headquarters and innovation hub. Still, leaving her comfort zone and staying adaptable and curious helped her have one of the best experiences of her professional life, she says.
