#Singapore will play a big role in the next-gen #automotive technologies powering Volvo Cars! One of the world’s best-known car brands, Volvo, has launched its new Singapore Tech Hub focused on R&D and building capabilities in robotics, electronics engineering, and AI. The Singapore Tech Hub will drive deep tech and advanced engineering development for the company, drawing on Singapore’s #robotics talent pool and ready partners among Singapore enterprises and startups. To mark the opening of the tech hub in Kallang, which is headed by Dr. Yvonne Tan, Volvo launched a hackathon for Singapore’s tertiary students. With technical support from Volvo’s experts, they applied advanced technologies to solve real-world urban mobility challenges.
