After bagging the Virtuoso Travel Sustainability Award and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) French Chapter Award for Best CSR Initiative, we're wrapping up the month of October with another milestone! Abercrombie & Kent Southeast Asia is proud to be named the 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 (𝐃𝐌𝐂) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 at the first-ever TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards – 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 2024, held on 17 October at the InterContinental Bangkok. This win was made possible through Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy’s (AKP) 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, which continues to uplift communities in Siem Reap. A powerful affirmation that our mission to drive meaningful change in both the industry and the world is backed by real impact. A&K Thailand’s 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 members attended this inaugural event, and accepting the award on our behalf was Célia Hulin, AKP Regional Coordinator. Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of A&K Thailand and Myanmar teams during their recent company outing. For this year's party, they set sail for the beautiful island of Koh Samed, embarking on a snorkeling and island-hopping adventure that took them across five stunning islands, with the stormy skies only adding to the thrill. As night fell, the fun continued with a lovely dinner and the much-anticipated "𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝" costume competition. From bioluminescent jellyfish to Caribbean pirate, everyone flaunted their most creative water-themed outfits!
