🇺🇬 NEW HETA PARTNER | UGANDA 🇺🇬 A warm welcome to SIGNALYTIC, the latest addition to the Health Electrification and Telecommunications Alliance (#HETA) to help bolster health system resilience in Uganda! 🔌 With support from HETA and through a commercial partnership with Joint Medical Store (JMS), Signalytic is embarking on a groundbreaking initiative to digitize and electrify 65 private health facilities within the JMS-network in Uganda, particularly in last-mile areas that need reliable and cost-effective infrastructure. 🏥 The partnership entails Signalytic deploying comprehensive digital infrastructure solutions through the S+ Platform, ensuring health facilities have access to solar power, durable computing hardware, and essential connectivity services. 💊 Signalytic will work closely with JMS to foster real-time communication and collaboration among health facilities, enhancing healthcare delivery and improving access to medicine. 🌍 As part of the initiative, Signalytic and JMS will leverage Maisha Meds' advanced point-of-sale system to streamline stock management and facilitate direct ordering, revolutionizing supply chain efficiency. Signalytic and JMS are laying the groundwork for resilient, sustainable healthcare models, ensuring health care providers have what they need for each and every patient they serve. Next on our Ugandan field trips, we were lucky to visit remote health facilities in Masaka district, a couple hours outside of Kampala. Despite being remote, these facilities are connected thanks to SIGNALYTIC’s box, antenna and solar panel. This also allows their stock management to be digitized and more efficient. Follow the journey from Signalytic's manufacturing space in the capital to the remote health centers that are online thanks to their innovation. A recent stakeholder meeting was held with the district leadership of Masaka City, Masaka District Local Government, Ministry of Health Officials, Signalytic, Health Access Connect, and Representatives of Health Centre II. We are excited to launch the S+ system, which will help with stock-taking at lower health centres in the Districts of Masaka City and Masaka Local Government!
