While much of the political focus in recent days has been on the bitter contest for the White House on the other side of the Atlantic, the final throes of an occasionally fractious and lengthy campaign for the Conservative leadership have finally played out over here. The Tories have appointed Kemi Badenoch as their new leader and her selection signals a change in the approach for the party. In our latest Insight piece, Director Arron Gatley discusses what comes next. Check it out👇 https://lnkd.in/ek72jfEA

You might have noticed a few updates to our brand this year - it's all thanks to Vida Creative. Thank you again to this canny bunch of Geordies for their expert help in building us a new website (plus so much more)! 🚀
We were delighted to be tasked with a brand refresh and new website for 56˚ North earlier this year. As a rapidly growing company with a reputation for excellence, 56° North trusted us to create a site that reflects the quality and impact of their work. Here’s what we implemented across their new site to achieve this: 📷 Authentic imagery - Candid, honest visuals that are unmistakably unique. 💻 Animations - Adding a premium touch with character. 🎨 Updated typeface & colours - A bold design that sets the tone whilst staying true to their brand. ✍️ Client-focused messaging - Clear, solution-driven content focused on client needs. We're really pleased with the end result! Collaborating on this project has been a true partnership. 🤝

In case you missed this last week, a few of our team have been working very hard behind the scenes with Commonwealth Games Scotland ahead Glasgow 2026. Read more here👇
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Commonwealth Games Scotland and the Commonwealth Games Federation on the strategic communications and brand strategy for Glasgow 2026. Today's launch was the culmination of months of hard work by all the team, to bring this unique Games to life. From delivering an effective communications strategy to secure the Games, through brand creation, strategic narrative and communications planning, it has been fascinating to work on moving Glasgow 2026 from idea to reality. But today is just the start for Glasgow 2026 and I can't wait to see what the next 638 days bring! A massive shout out and thank you to the hugely talented Colin Millar and Sue McGregor for trusting me to work on this with you (and for putting up with my love of What's App groups and GIFs!). And big high fives to Alison Brown and all the team at Loop who brought the creative vision to life. Not forgetting James Mulligan, Sarah Griffiths, Mark Pryde, Gillian Cooke, Gabriel Smy, Dominique Mitchell, John Penman, Gavin Sturgeon, Craig Watson and many more behind the scenes. It's good to be back. #Glasgow2026 Photos - Craig Watson

Not least in the UK, where our economy and politics is often intertwined with the US. From Whiskey, to manufacturing, to the high streets of Cumbernauld, this election's outcome will shape the next four years in the UK more than any other foreign election. As such, we've taken a look at the four most important implications for the UK of a Trump presidency.
