💫 The Active Lincolnshire Board met yesterday. The brilliant Edward Hollamby BA (Hons) FITOL MILAM presented findings of the external Board review he has undertaken. Ed played back how well the Board is functioning and what marginal gains we can make to be even more effective. I love the image and quote below! 👏 Our Trustees are all volunteers, giving their time and expertise to support us and drive the organisation forward. They provide valuable expertise, professional rigor and check and challenge. And I am extremely grateful for all that they bring. 🙏 I have personally hugely valued our Chair Paul Barron CBE D.Sc. his exceptional mentoring and leadership helps me find clarity in an often complex environment. 💯 We have an exceptional Board to support our award winning organisation! 💜 And I would highly recommend Ed for Board reviews, people development and business planning. #LetsMoveLincolnshire #TeamWork #Grateful #Leadership Paul Barron CBE D.Sc. • Paul Chandler and Charlotte Pedley from our team attended the Active Partnerships Marketing and Communications meet up in Birmingham today. It was a great opportunity to share learnings with colleagues from other Active Partnerships and discuss how we can best share impactful physical activity messaging. Thank you to Nicky Hawkins for her insightful workshop around telling the story in comms, and also good to hear more from Sport England about the next stage of their This Girl Can Belonging Starts with Inclusion campaign. #ActivePartnerships #UnitingTheMovement
