Accelerating the decarbonisation of commercial transport

About us

The commercial fleet industry faces a complex challenge. As the UK works towards ambitious net zero targets, the pressure to decarbonise is mounting. At the same time, consumer expectations for fast, flexible service delivery have never been higher. A successful transition to zero emission transport will depend on a critical factor: reliable public infrastructure. Aegis Energy is empowering commercial fleets to make this shift by building the first network of clean, multi-energy hubs across the UK. Our mission is to make the transition energising; not overwhelming. We are providing operators with the power of choice - enabling them to decarbonise on their terms, with the flexibility to future-proof their operations and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market. By working closely with operators, we ensure they have the solutions they need to focus on what they do best: keeping vehicles and supply chains moving. From strategically located hubs and high-speed refuelling, to best in class driver welfare facilities, we’re not just accelerating the decarbonisation of commercial transport – we’re helping fleets stay ahead of the competition, win customers and retain drivers.

  • 🔍 Let's set the record straight on EV charging for commercial fleets. The common misconception about EV charging is that it's slow, unreliable and hard to find. Let's break down that myth. ⚡The investment into fleet decarbonisation is growing. From high-speed chargers (up to 400kW) to convenient locations that don't require detours, these hubs are designed to get your electric vehicles back on the road faster than ever. 🚐 So your fleets can spend less time charging and more time delivering to your customers, making the shift to EV charging a practical way to power your fleet. #EVCharging #Fleets #CommercialVehicles

  • 🚛 What will it take to kickstart the zero-emission HGV revolution? ⚡ HGVs make up just 1% of vehicles on UK roads but account for 20% of transport emissions. With government mandates pushing for rapid decarbonisation, the pressure is on for fleets to make the switch. But infrastructure remains the missing piece. Right now, there are fewer than five dedicated HGV charging points in the UK. Without charging and refuelling hubs designed for HGVs specifically, fleet operators may struggle to adopt zero-emission vehicles. 📖 In Motor Transport, Chris Thorneycroft Smith explores what’s needed to accelerate the transition. • Can transitioning to electric vehicles unlock cost savings for your fleet business? In the competitive world of fleet operations, we understand keeping Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) low is crucial. Electric vehicles do come with high upfront costs, but the savings on fuel and maintenance can help keep business costs low in the long run. Making the transition to EVs sooner means unlocking these cost savings sooner. Plus, with more investment in bookable, high-speed charging hubs like ours, you don't have to worry about the cost of building your own charging infrastructure, and you can keep your fleets moving by spending less time on charging and more time on the road. #EVCosts #ChargingInfrastructure #FleetOperations

⚡ We're building multi-energy hubs to keep fleets moving! Our Immingham station, located in Stallingborough near the A180, will be an important part of the UK's network of green corridors. With its strategic location near Immingham Dock, this facility has been designed with fleet operators and drivers in mind. Built to keep fleets moving throughout the energy transition, Immingham will be a reliable, accessible, and flexible stop for commercial operators. #EVCharging #FleetOperators #EnergyHubs

  • 🚛 The road to net zero isn’t one-size-fits-all. So how can we meet the needs of commercial vehicle operators, as they decarbonise the fleet? We believe in providing choice when it comes to decarbonisation. That’s why Aegis Energy will be offering HVO, electric charging, bio-CNG and hydrogen at our hubs. By offering multiple energy types, we can ensure our infrastructure is flexible - technology, policy, and fleet needs evolve. #EVCharging #HVO #BioCNG

🔋The clean energy transition for commercial fleets needs to work for the people who will rely on it every day. At the recent Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Progress Summit, Kasia Chodurek laid out how Aegis Energy is tackling the biggest barriers for fleet operators: reliable, flexible, and affordable infrastructure designed specifically for commercial vehicles. From bookable high-speed charging to security and driver-friendly facilities, we’re building a network that makes zero-emission transport a seamless reality. 👀 And as for Uncle George? He would leave our clean energy hubs a happy man. Watch the clip to see why. #FleetDecarbonisation #CleanEnergy #InfrastructureSolutions

  • The transition to electric fleets isn’t just about ambition - it’s about infrastructure.   In Vauxhall Motors Ltd recent research, 'Vauxhall Electric Van Adoption Report', 2,000 UK fleet operators confirmed what we hear from them every day: access to public charging is still a major barrier. Nine out of ten businesses say they’d rely on on-street charging, yet most find installing their own charging provisions “problematic.”   At Aegis Energy, we’re addressing this barrier head on by building a dedicated network of clean, multi-energy hubs designed for commercial vehicles - giving them the reliability, flexibility, and affordability they need to make the switch.   Swipe through the carousel for the key stats from Vauxhall’s report. 📊   #FleetDecarbonisation #ChargingInfrastructure #EVFleets
