Businesses have an important role to play in ensuring gender equity and equal opportunities for everyone. Over the weekend, we celebrated International Women's Day by honouring the incredible achievements of women and recognising the importance of continuing to push forward to create a fairer and more equal world for women and girls. This #IWD2025, we helped to #AccelerateAction with the creation of our good growth guide, setting out the steps we believe businesses should take to enable and empower women in their organisations.
According to the World Economic Forum, it will take until 2158 to reach full gender parity, at the current rate of progress. Last week, Jeanette Gill, Managing Director at Agent shared why International Women's Day remains a crucial date for our organisation as we work with our clients to eliminate gender-bias and #AccelerateAction towards full gender equity 🌎💜
Around the world, International Women’s Day is being celebrated, recognising the achievements and advancements of women and raising awareness of inequalities that still exists in society. As businesses, we have a responsibility to help #AccelerateAction towards a fairer and more equal world, where everyone has access to the same opportunities to explore their passions and find their full potential. This #IWD2025, we have created our guide for good growth, laying out the best practices we believe all businesses should adopt to help #AccelerateAction for true gender equity, eliminate unconscious gender bias and support women in the workplace. I had the pleasure of celebrating International Women’s Day with inspiring female leaders at the pro-manchester IWD event. According to the World Economic Forum, at our current pace, true gender parity will take until 2158, impacting roughly five future generations. We still have so much work to do! I am proud to work for Agent, a business that excels in the gender equality space, alongside some truly brilliant female colleagues.
