With no change to the Bank of England base rate today our Director of Partnerships Stephanie Daley shares her thoughts: "The Bank of England’s decision to hold interest rates steady provides stability for homebuyers and those looking to remortgage, especially with the sub 4% mortgage rates we are now seeing for 2- and 5-year fixed terms. As we approach the two-year anniversary of the Liz Truss mini-budget, this decision offers a sense of predictability, allowing the market to maintain its positive outlook for the remainder of the year. September has already been an incredibly busy month, with strong confidence from homebuyers, and keeping rates unchanged should help sustain this momentum, encouraging continued activity in the property market."

Like many at Alexander Hall I started my advising journey by progressing through our Client Services Adviser team. The alumni of this department not only make up much of the Senior Management team at Alexander Hall but also of many of the top talent throughout the industry. The role is specifically designed to build highly successful mortgage and protection advisers whose progression is supercharged with our industry leading focus on training and development. Last week I had the pleasure of taking our current CSA team out to celebrate a brilliant start to 2024 at Gloria 🍝 (well worth the hype!) followed by a very fun and competitive round at Junkyard Golf. With thousands of appointments qualified and booked we’ve seen application levels up over 30% year on year which is possible in part due to the drive and tenacity of our brilliant CSA team.   Adrian Fardini and I are immensely proud to now have a hand in the development of the talent through this department and we are looking to grow the team further.
