Ambassador Cruise Line

Ambassador Cruise Line (“Ambassador”), a Njord Partners portfolio company, and French cruise operator CFC - Compagnie Française de Croisières (“CFC”), have reached an agreement to merge, forming the “Ambassador Group”. This strategic combination marks the creation of a leading European premium affordable value cruise line, targeting the no-fly silver market. The transaction is expected to close by the end of January 2025. The combined company will operate a fleet of three vessels of small-to-mid-size vessels: Renaissance, Ambience and Ambition and will focus on no-fly European cruises, with a Caribbean programme introduced in Q4 2025. JUDGES We are proud to have best-selling author Dr Alison Norrington as one of our esteemed judges in our Ambassador Cruise Line playwright competition. Dr Alison Norrington is the Founder of ‘storycentral’, a London-based entertainment studio, author and playwright with plays Class Act and A Fish & A Bonsai being staged at the Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, in the London Borough of Havering, East London. (The Queen's Theatre was named 'London Theatre of the Year' in 2020, and the theatre was nominated for 9 Off Stage Awards and won 4 of them last year). She has collaborated with global companies including Sundance TV and Walt Disney Imagineering, and her novel The Man in Manhattan has been recently optioned as a full length feature film.

We had the privilege of serving as headline sponsors at the World Indoor Bowls Championship held at Potters Resorts, Hopton-on-Sea. The event was a great success, providing a platform to engage with many of our valued customers and strengthen our presence in the community. Some huge cruise news has just come in. Ambassador Cruise Line has merged with CFC - Compagnie Française de Croisières to create a new cruise company. The Ambassador Group will operate a three-ship fleet, consisting of Ambassador Cruise Line ship Ambience and Ambition as well as CFC vessel Renaissance. In addition, the group will offer a fly-cruise Caribbean programme this winter. Why is this significant? Well, both Ambassador and CFC both previously had a strong presence in the no-fly cruise market. More details about the new programme will be announced 'in the coming days'
