We are pleased to announce that we have been named finalists in not one, but TWO categories at the Offshore Energies UK OEUK Awards 2024! A huge well done to Matthew Dunn, our Apprentice Instrument Technician on the Anasuria FPSO, who has been selected as a finalist in the 'Apprentice of the Year' category. Since joining the team last year, Matt's dedication, work ethic, and passion for learning have impressed everyone, from technicians to management, both offshore and onshore. We are also extremely proud to be recognised in the 'People and Culture' category. Creating a positive and supportive culture is at the heart of everything we do at AOC. The Anasuria culture thrives thanks to the hard work and commitment of our incredible teams, both in the office, and on the Anasuria FPSO. Today, we would like to introduce Callum Chesshire, Senior HSE Advisor at AOC. Callum has worked for AOC since joining at the end of 2022 and has become a big part of our AOC family. Callum brings with him a wealth of HSE knowledge, along with a great sense of humour, and we had the opportunity to get to know him a little better, finding out more about his career history and his thoughts on working for AOC. Last night, our competitive spirit came alive during an action-packed 7-a-side football match between our onshore and offshore teams at GOALS. The offshore team certainly looked the part, arriving in their matching kits. However, it was the onshore team that stormed ahead with a 3-1 lead before the offshore side fought back...managing to score a dubious goal that brought the final score to 3-2. Congratulations to both teams for their fantastic effort and sportsmanship. Earlier this summer, the AOC team gathered at Newburgh Links golf course for our annual employee golf day. With clubs in hand, our onshore and offshore teams came together to form 10 teams in a Texas scramble – some seasoned golfers, others with little to no experience...but that’s all part of the fun!
