For this year's #NationalInclusionWeek we've been thinking about what inclusion means to us... Inclusion for us at Arch means exploring every opportunity to improve the health and well-being of people without a secure home in Brighton who are often overlooked by other healthcare providers. Our Outreach team are a fantastic example of this commitment. They travel around the city on foot or by e-bike to visit those patients who are unable to come into the surgery and take the time to build trust with people experiencing long term homelessness who may have lost faith with the health system. The team have also built relationships with the local Traveller community, which historically has faced high levels of exclusion from the health system. Everyone deserves to have access to healthcare, regardless of their circumstances or where they live. This is why Arch exists. #inclusionhealth #brightonandhove

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. It's worth remembering that people experiencing homelessness are at a higher risk of death by suicide than the general population. Latest figures show that 13.4% of all deaths among people without a secure home were due to suicide. If you ever feel suicidal, Samaritans are there for everyone, every day and every night, just call 116123 from any phone. It's free. We're thrilled to share the results of the latest NHS patient survey in which 98% of patients described their overall experience at Arch as good. Our results were the 2nd highest across all GP surgeries in Sussex! Well done and thank you to our fantastic surgery team. #BrightonGP
