We're 'branching out', literally 🌲🌲 Last week, our team got their hands dirty (and maybe a little green) at Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels and Gardens to lend a hand with their tree maintenance. As part of our annual volunteering day, 17 of our people maintained almost 4,000 saplings and replanted 400 that sadly did not survive the winter. It was an incredible day, we’re so proud to have played a small part in this initiative and to contribute towards a greener future. Shoutout to Cameron Fyfe for organising it - he’s the barefoot chap 😉

Once where Robert Stephenson built steam locomotives in the 1800s, our multi-million pound investment in the Grade II listed building reflects our need to create a more modern and collaborative workspace after a period of significant growth. Our CEO, Mark Mullen, says: “The Pattern Shop played a key role in shaping the modern world. With its unique character and rich history, it is the perfect place to reimagine what a company HQ can be." “We’re creating a social space that brings people together because it’s inspiring, not because it’s mandated. We're proud to have awarded over £10K to students as part of our Atom Futures Fund initiative ✨ We supported 13 individuals in their studies last year and our applications for 2025 are NOW OPEN! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dzKdHACq What is it? 💭 The Atom Futures Fund supports students from low-income backgrounds, young carers and children in care to attend Russell Group universities. It's in partnership with Point North, a North East charity that supports community projects and helps young people achieve their potential. How does it work? 💡 There are two types of funding available: Part 1 - £250 for at least 20 eligible year 13 students. This is a flexible incentive that can be put towards your application process, like interview preparation, travel expenses and study materials. Part 2 - a £1k grant for at least five successful Part 1 applicants who continue beyond their first term.
