About us
Auger are the leading underground services and subsidence specialist working exclusively for the insurance industry across the UK. With 30 years’ of expertise in our sector, we specialise in the handling, investigation, validation and repair of drainage, water mains and off-mains claims, and carry out subsidence site investigations and laboratory testing on behalf of insurers and adjusters. Our employees’ development is our passion. In 2016 we established our Auger Academy, committed to providing our workforce with opportunities for career progression and personal development. We are dedicated to training those with no previous experience in our industry and equipping them with the skills they need to excel, as well as encouraging our existing team to access further training, external qualifications and higher education. The result is an expert nationwide workforce of over 200 people trained in ‘the Auger way’. We are a data-led organisation who have always been at the forefront of technology in our field, and continue to push these boundaries through an in-house team who utilise custom development and SaaS to drive tailored solutions for our customers and clients. These factors combine to help us deliver an unrivalled end-to-end service deserving of our exceptional NPS of 80+. Through the Hub, operational teams can view personalised performance dashboards to monitor their progress against departmental benchmarks and track their goals. Engineers can also explore over 50 interactive "Toolbox Talks", covering key topics like Manual Handling and Trench Safety. In the Auger Store, Engineers can easily order equipment, consumables, and uniforms - all in one place. Giving back this Christmas... 🎄🤲🏻 This festive season, our team have been busy supporting those in our local community who need it most. We partnered with WEB Merseyside to make Christmas extra special for children and young people by fulfilling their holiday wishes. Through our gift tag initiative, we delivered 50 personalised gifts, spreading festive cheer to those less fortunate. A number of our colleagues also volunteered their time at the local Foodbank, while our HQ team came together to donate a brilliant 684 food items as part of the Foodbank Advent Collection. Making a difference, one book at a time 📚 Last week, we donated a total of 71 books to our local primary school as part of the Children’s Book Drive 2024 organised by the Children's Book Project. This event was one of 450 across the UK, encouraging people to donate books to their local communities to tackle book poverty, and generate a 'book buzz' amongst children who have never owned one.
