  • We are seeking a proactive Design Manager to join our growing design team within Bailey & Jones, who can help drive projects forward, and resolve challenges ensuring the timely delivery of design packages. Reporting to our Head of Design, you will be responsible for the delivery of these design packages, ensuring they are approved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborating with both design and site teams, you will manage project schedules and ensure the design complies with building codes and regulations. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction processes, and experience coordinating mechanical and electrical elements. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines are essential. A collaborative mindset is necessary, as you will work alongside Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and other Consultants and Designers.
