A busy month of events! 💻📅
📅 It's been a busy February at Big Learning Company with a wide range of events to attend: 1️⃣ Thoroughly enjoyed attending both the Apprenticeship Fair & Apprenticeship Awards with Katie Evans & Zoe Paginton at Ty Coch Campus and the Swansea.com Stadium respectively. Celebrating the success of so many learners and speaking to those at the start of their employment journey reminded and reassured me that so much fantastic work is taking place across Wales - The future is bright! ☀️ Diolch to Gower College Swansea for organising these events. 2️⃣ Next up, Zoe Paginton and I had the pleasure of attending an Apprenticeship Showcase Provider Event at Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). It was great to spread the message of our fully funded Digital Learning Practitioner Apprenticeship and gain insights into digital skills priorities moving forward. Also fantastic to catch up with the amazing Samantha-Jayne Francis 💖 - Diolch for the invite! 📸 Dropping into the stunning Tramshed Tech Palace in Swansea was a must to catch up with our very own Conah Harrison facilitating multiple digital skills training sessions 👍 3️⃣ Finally, a big thank you to Rachel Arnold for the invite to the Skills Competition Wales event at University of South Wales, Newport this morning. Chatting with the next generation of talent was a pleasure while discovering innovative skills competitions across digital, business and more! ✨ 🤔 This period has reminded me of both the value and importance of attending in person events - providing opportunities to speak to people spanning sectors, locations and backgrounds. There is such a range of fantastic skills provision/initiatives taking place across Wales, it really is a pleasure to see ☺️
