🚨Our latest findings highlight a significant gap in neonatal care: On average, there is a 67% shortfall between the recommended staffing levels and the actual staffing levels of essential Neonatal Allied Health Professionals — including dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists — as well as pharmacy and psychological professionals across the UK. ⭐Yet, we know just how vital their roles are. Our research shows that 9 in 10 parents reported that the care and support of these professionals had a positive or very positive impact on their neonatal journey.
