The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects due to our diverse workload which spans the residential, super homes, commercial, industrial and leisure sectors. If you are looking to embark on an exciting and rewarding career and are ambitious and practically minded, with a keen interest in engineering and construction, then Brennan Consult is the right choice for you on your first steps onto the career ladder. This role will include day release (1 day per week) during term time to attend a local University or College to complete a fully-funded accredited HNC Civil Engineering course. Our experienced and friendly team will mentor the apprentice to ensure they develop their knowledge and skills to become a competent Structural Engineering Technician, and for the right individual there is the opportunity to further their learning with a part-time degree course following successful completion of the HNC course. The role will be office based with occasional exposure to site visits and meetings to support the learning experience. Brennan Consult have been established for 11 years and in the coming weeks will be relocating to a new contemporary modern office in central Stockport. Whilst a full UK driving licence is preferable, our new office location is supported by great transport links. The candidate will also need to give consideration to commuting to Bolton which is the likely destination for day release. Role Requirements A minimum of Five GCSE’s at Grades 9-4 / A* - C including Maths, English and Science or their equivalent. A minimum of three A levels at Grades A* - C including Mathematics and Physical Science or their equivalent or will have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering A keen interest in engineering and construction Have good interpersonal and communication skills Team player displaying enthusiasm, flexibility and versatility. Self-Motivated Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle.
