🎉 Completion of a state-of-the-art facility for Beckers Group 🎉 Thrilled to share the completion of our recent project for global coating company, Beckers Group. This cutting-edge building in Speke, Liverpool was designed to support the creation of the next generation of sustainable coil coatings. It features Beckers' own thermal-control coating on the roof, reducing energy needed for heating, an active carbon filtration system on a VOC exhaust chimney, and heat pumps to lower CO2 emissions. The facility boasts a steel frame on a raft slab, bespoke cladding with Beckers' innovative paint, polished concrete, state-of-the-art lab equipment, a moveable wall, and a customised experience room with switch control glass. Let the building work begin 🚧 We have officially commenced work on the new £12m first team facility for Stoke City Football Club. The scheme will create a new state of the art building with elite facilities for the men’s first team squad. The work will represent Stoke City’s biggest financial outlay on a single project since the building of the bet365 Stadium in 1997. Cae’r Gors, Tregarth MacLennan Construction Limited have just handed over twelve two & three bedroom affordable houses to Adra in Tregarth. The site was challenging from the design through to the build phase on site. A former paddock that had very poor land drainage flowing into a normal water course off the Afon Ogwen. Issues were exasperated by the influx of road water flooding the site, now dealt with by extensive SuDS and underground attenuation areas, flowing back into the diverted watercourse. Other factors affecting the site was a very tight access off a small unclassified road. The bottom end of the site was prone to flooding due to the river being restricted at a road crossing. The solution was to re-engineer the river with NFM & improve the flow. The road access was improved in conjunction with Gwynedd Highways Department which improved an awkward blind T junction. The build used a Build Lite Future Foundation EPS system for all the properties to greatly reduce the site excavations and speed up the construction process. The super structure was a SIP frame with Partel ECHOFOIL IZOand ECHOFOIL EXO membranes. Externally the developer was keen not to have another “white box” aesthetic and have a more contemporary facade employing a more urban "rumbled" low carbon facing brick. The houses are heated via Mitsubishi Ecodan 5Kw ASHP and 3.2kw PV solar array for each property. Post construction SAP ratings of up to 102A. The finished estate sits comfortably into a mature landscape with large oaks being retained to the road frontage & the mature woodland to the rear running along Lôn Las Ogwen which provides easy access from the site for walking & cycling.
