From improving social mobility to combating loneliness, boosting workforce development, revitalising community spaces, tackling food poverty, and expanding green spaces, the Pride of Place initiative is working on meaningful projects tailored to each area's unique needs. Our Green Skills Lab, delivered in 2023, was our first action-learning programme bringing together executives, sustainability leaders and HR professionals from diverse industries to strategically address workforce planning for a just, #NetZero transition. Through peer-to-peer learning, participants reflected on sustainability practices and discovered valuable insights about internal alignment and employee-driven innovation. One participant noted, "Green skills weren't even on our radar before this".
