🌪️ OMNISHAMBLES = the way businesses currently engage their employees on sustainability. A swamp of questionable offsetting, dull training, childish gamification and lame calculators 🤢.    It offended us so much that we decided to do something about it and built the Carbon Jacked Employee Sustainability Platform 🌍 – a platform people actually want to use.    It brings together content creators and tech to:  1. Educate employees by teaching them about climate, nature and sustainability 🌊  2. Improve their wellbeing by inspiring them to get out into nature ⛰️  3. Take climate action through personal action, volunteering and supporting climate projects 👊    It’s epic. But don’t take our word for it, have a look for yourself.     Sustainability matters. Employees matter.     You know where to find us.    https://lnkd.in/eMAPnkmZ Saving the planet shouldn’t be boring.    #CarbonJacked #Sustainability #EmployeeEngagement #ClimateEducation #ClimateAction #Wellbeing

Spicing up sustainability for Halloween. Day 3 and we’re in Transylvania, Romania 🏰🇷🇴 - for #Halloween, of course. We couldn’t resist getting off the train early and making a dash to the medieval town of Brasov… in the south eastern part of the region which is the home of Dracula. If we’d have flown all the way to #COP29… we couldn’t have stopped off at a place like this. Romania is class. Next up on The Azerbaijan Adventure is the capital of Romania, Bucharest, and then on to Bulgaria… all by train of course. If you spend time making a fuss over things like Halloween at your work place… then you should do the same for sustainability 😏 Saving the planet shouldn’t be boring. . #CarbonJacked #AzerbaijanAdventure #TravelSustainably #SustainableTravel #sustainability #Interrail #Trains #Travel Eurail

🌶️ 👻 It’s Halloween so what better than a spoooooky podcast episode on…. how do you make sustainability spicy? 🎙️💥 This week’s guest is Jess Silva, presenter, commentator, and co-founder of Carbon Jacked and Second Nature Sisters | Org, and Jess is all about adding some spice. Hugely passionate about sustainability and sport, Jess shares how she has carved a successful career which combines the two, from starting off working for England netball, to presenting for Sky Sports and Formula E, and talking at Sport Positive. Currently on her way to COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan by train (where she will be running yoga sessions!), Jess talks about the idea of imperfect environmentalism, how she wants to make sustainability spicy, and staying optimistic despite the climate stories of doom and gloom. She shares how she is building a community for women in the sustainability space, through Second Nature Sisters, connecting people with nature, and where she wants her passions to take her in the future. We get asked a lot… How do we work with businesses on sustainability? Well, the answer is we do a lot. So we thought we’d give you the 60 second lowdown.   We help businesses, sports and individuals creatively combat climate change in 3 main ways:    1. We help organisations get the people part of sustainability right. Which means educating & engaging employees. We do epic climate & sustainability training + 12-month engagement programmes.   2. We do technical sustainability consulting – covering everything from carbon footprint assessments and Net Zero targets to sustainability strategies and comms.   3. We also run workshops and do keynotes to help organisations bring a bit of energy to their sustainability game.   For universities, including The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) & Loughborough University, we’re currently delivering some awesome sustainability programmes.    The big thing is - we’re not like other environmental companies - we’re not into generic green emojis, cartoon eco leaves or preaching - we’re into doing things that actually work. We blend technical expertise with a bit of spice.    Some of those we’ve helped when it comes to sustainability are Admiral Group Plc, Accenture, Loughborough Sport, Sky Sports, SailGP, COAT Paints, Ecotricity, Rathfinny Wine Estate, Y1 Sport, ParalympicsGB and loads more.    We work with start-ups and corporates across every sector - so if you fancy chatting about your sustainability and working together, get in touch 👉 businessenquiries@carbonjacked.com    Saving the planet shouldn’t be boring.  www.carbonjacked.com

Cracking few days Blue Earth Summit. Some of the Carbon Jacked team were there to talk about: - How to spice things up when it comes to sustainability - How to effectively & entertainingly educate and engage your employees, teams, customers, fans & athletes on sustainability. No preaching. No patronising. No gold stars for turning the light switch off. - How to get people out into nature & rewilding the world Oh, and we also chatted about that big ol’ train trip we have coming up to #COP29 in Azerbaijan... 👀 Our Jess Silva took to the stage with Fiona Morgan for a spicy Second Nature Sisters | Org talk, Jess also hosted a class panel on brand and community building with Adam Bastock of People Planet Pint, Jacqui Scott CEO of Kendal Mountain Events and Rob Greenfield co-founder of EarthtopiaUK. Second Nature Sisters also ran a glorious morning yoga session with our climate queen Leah. Meanwhile Jacques Sheehan had fun being interviewed by Jolyon White for Trainline and discussed how we’ll be getting from the UK to Baku by train... Something that came up again and again was how to successfully educate & engage the rest of your organisation/employees on sustainability? Now, that’s something we specialise in – climate training and engagement programmes that actually work - so give us a holla if you want to chat further on it – businessenquiries@carbonjacked.com or drop us a line on LinkedIn. We've worked with the likes of SailGP, ParalympicsGB, Ecotricity Accenture, Loughborough University, Admiral Group Plc and more... so we must be doing something right.
