Five for 5 in '25! ✋ It's hard to believe that 2025 is the year that Cast turns 5! We have a lot of exciting news to share across the coming months as we celebrate this fantastic milestone, kicking off with not one, not two, but five (yes FIVE!!) new project wins from five different clients! 🎉 Recent wins include a floor at Fouberts Place for Aviva Investors, the fit out and furniture on Level 1 at 76 Wardour Street for Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), a 21,000 sqft Cat B office and common parts fit out at Brock Street for British Land, and the marketing suite and communal café space in London Bridge for EDGE. Stanhope PLC has also instructed us on a 16,000 sqft Cat A+ demise split project at Wood Crescent to accommodate future retail tenants. If today has been a bit ruff, keep paw-sitive with the help of some furry friends 🐶 Helping to clear the January blues away with a bit of puppy therapy at our head office with the team at Together Collective, who are passionate about nurturing a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry companions. Working with trusted local breeders, they help young puppies become accustomed to human contact and new environvments in preparation for finding their forever homes. In recognition of the work put in this year we are closing the Cast office early for Christmas, to give everyone a well deserved extended break. 🎄 And so we are closing this Friday 20th December and are back open to smash 2025 on Thursday 2nd January! To help get us all into the Christmas spirit and in support of our chosen charity partner (The Sick Children's Trust), Cast held a joint ‘Christmas Jumper’ and ‘Christmas Cook-off’ event last week. Everyone who took part in this incredible mash-up was asked to make a small donation, which Cast would match. The total raised was an incredible £1060 !! Well done to everyone that took part and donated. We are proud to have aligned with The Sick Children’s Trust as our chosen charity partner for 2024/25. They are a charity that provide families with a seriously ill child in hospital, a warm and comfortable place to stay when they need it most. A home from home. It literally means a love of life or living things. 💚 Biophilia can add so much life to your office environment, especially at this time of year when things outside can look grey and lifeless. 🌿 At our recently completed 30,000 sqft project for Koba at 100 Barbirolli Square in Manchester, we created a living, breathing oasis 🤦 of a workspace by incorporating biophilic design elements throughout the space, creating a calming and refreshing atmosphere. By incorporating abundant plant life, maximising natural light and utilising natural materials, we created a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also enhances employee well-being, can reduce stress, improve cognitive function, and increase creativity.
