📍Remember these familiar faces? Cellular Highways recently returned to VIB Flow Cytometry Core in Leuven, where Sammy Buttercase and Lotte Carr enjoyed a productive visit with Jochen Lamote and the team. Highway1 was put to the test, sorting a wide range of cells—from primary hepatocytes and lung cells to nuclei and tumor cells—with ease, thanks to our gentle VACS technology. We’re excited to share data soon! 📄 Visitors across the institute also experienced how intuitive Highway1 is to operate - no specialist training required. A big thank you to the VIB team for their expertise and enthusiasm, making it a great visit all around.👏 📨Curious to see Highway1 in action? Cellular Highways reposted this
After a succesfull demo in Cambridge a few months ago it was great to have the #Highway1 in Leuven so we could test multiple sample types for different downstream applications. - Super user-friendly (even for flow beginners) - unbreakable instrument/software (I tried 😅) - quick and easy set-up for last minute/second cell sorting (life at a flow core 😉) - automatic control of sort efficiency and automatic clogg removal - and most importantly, very promising preliminary results with previously “unsortable” cells!!! (Can’t spoil yet which 🤫 ) The easiest, fastest, gentle way to isolate low frequency cells from a primary tumour? I think we found it, amazing post-sort survival rates for all cell types of the tumour micro environment tested 🤩 Many thanks to Lotte and Sammy for their dedication, enthusiasm and support, one thing is to have a great instrument, but application support is equally (or even more!) important, there’s a great vibe at Cellular Highways, Salman Samson Rogers you assembled an amazing team of people❤️

📍For the past two weeks, Highway1 has been installed at the The Francis Crick Institute flow core, offering users the chance to test a wide variety of cells on our system. Cells that typically struggle to survive post-sorting were thriving on Highway1, thanks to our gentle VACS technology. From iPSCs to germinal centers from human tonsils, the range of cells tested highlights Highway1's versatility. Application notes coming soon!📄 📨Interested in testing your cells on Highway1? Reach out to arrange a demo. #cellsorting #flowcytometry #cgt #Highway1
